Transactions and emission units

Authorised representatives (AR) of user accounts with role 2 or 4 (AR with Initiator rights) can initiate - and sometimes even solely effectuate - transactions of units from their accounts via the registry interface by going into the details of the specific accounts (via the menu "Accounts" and by clicking on the balance of the respective account afterwards).

Depending on the involved unit type(s) and the account configuration, approval by an AR with Approver role (role 3 or 4) might be needed and specific delays (business hours, fixed execution time, 4 working days for TAL addition) might be applicable.

The transaction rules are slightly different for person holding accounts in the Belgian Kyoto registry (KP-PHA). These are accounts with an account number starting BE-121-... (in contrary to EU-ETS accounts having an account number starting with EU-100-...). The person holding accounts in the Belgian Kyoto registry continue to follow the previous transaction rules.
